Description
The role of the Product Owner or Project Manager consists of connecting the development team to the product needs.
To ensure a successful connection, Agile methodologies are your best ally. The development team needs to get information as simply and completely as possible. With previously prioritised tasks, sprints defined between both sides (me and them) and a visible roadmap, your product will always be in movement, updated and performing as expected.

Nowadays, almost all companies that are sell their products offline are eCommerces too, selling through their own or third-party channels.
If you have decided to build your own eCommerce and you have selected your technical partner to develop it, you should consider a role that acts as a bridge between your expectations and the team that is going to set up your site.
The role of a Project Manager or Product Owner is key here. Companies might hire a Development Partner to execute their online shop project, but this can lead to poor visibility or knowledge when it comes to managing requests or updates for the Development team. A role such as mine is the perfect interlocutor to avoid that the final result strays from expectations.
Monitoring the team through detailed planning and daily follow-ups on development tasks is key to building your eCommerce.

A website team frequently works without clear communication with the other teams. For instance, the Sales Team might not know how the Black Friday campaign implementation is going? Will the promotion be ready within the agreed deadline? Or is the Customer Success team waiting for a new feature to be set up in the backend? When will it be available?
In these scenarios, the problem is about the visibility of these deliveries. Enter a Product Owner using Agile methodologies. The connection with the development team becomes clear and transparent. Using Agile methodologies as well as velocity reports, we can plan when a feature will be finished and delivered based on data. We can take the story points delivered in previous projects and get a velocity metric from it.
Like this, the teams in your company will automatically be on the same page.

Description
In a digital business, an entire plan can change in a few hours. Something happened somewhere in the world, someone said something, and suddenly a new discount campaign needs to be launched. This is just one example.
If you and your team want to be at the top of your game, you need to be ready for that. Not only in terms of resources, but also when it comes to planning and attitude about facing these updates.
If we add a project or task to the planning, the team needs to be ready to take it on. If this change in the plan doesn’t jeopardize its stability because the replanning is done smoothly, the team will be happy and ready to face unplanned updates. But, if each time something unexpected comes up, the world seems to end because of priorities not being clear or old deadlines not getting updated, then the team will become fearful each time an emergency or a new, trendy idea comes along.

As a company owner, marketing manager or similar, you might have a lot of ideas or new updates to implement in your digital product, but you are struggling with where to start, how to prioritize and how to plan the development.
A Product Owner can help your company by translating these needs, ideas or updates into a development project and by updating plans and roadmaps for new implementations.
Using Agile methodologies, we can divide the project into smaller units, all the way down to a list of actionable tasks. Then, we can prioritize these tasks according to the business’ needs. Tasks are short and independent actions which the development team will work on in sprints.

Description
When you launch a new digital product, planning and coordination between stakeholders is key. For the launch of an eCommerce, digital campus or app, multiple stakeholders get involved and all of them are key in their respective areas.
With this in mind, we can conclude that a perfect roadmap for our project will be the base for success. In order to create an effective roadmap, we need to consider two key aspects (and some minor ones as well): the connections between stakeholders or departments in the form of dependencies, and the time involved.
Anticipating how the agents will work together can be key to success. We must be able to predict when a department will need to get certain materials, information or feedback from another department or stakeholder in order to move forward with their own tasks. By doing so we will be able to anticipate the chain of interdependencies across all the stakeholders to reach the final goal, and launch the project in accordance with the agreed quality standards.
When we talk about time, we mean the time needed to finish all the necessary projects. Here, the Agile methodologies and the story points will help us define a value for a subjective question like “How much time will it take you?” Thanks to the story points, we will be able to know our team’s velocity and to determine how much time they will need to complete a task.
With these two factors, interdependencies and time, we will be able to start working on an ideal roadmap to ensure an on-time launch of our digital product.

When a growing website project generates an increasing number of orders, leads, and users, companies find themselves at a crossroads between the need to grow and the capacity to increase or professionalize their team.
In some cases, the problem might be that the team responsible for managing the digital product were no specialists in this area. In other cases, the digital product might be entirely managed by the partner who built it. Whatever your company’s situation, hiring a Fractional or Freelance Product Owner could be the right move.
A Product Owner specialized in managing digital products can bring you to the next level by planning the product needs and future launches, analyzing data and anticipating business opportunities, translating feedback and problems from the internal team to the development team, and so much more.
A Product Owner can manage and direct your digital product, and will not only help you with growth, but also with building inner connections and common goals.

Description
Sometimes, the problem with digital products is that they lack a clear owner. Developers create products based on designers’ requirements defined in a closed proposal. The Sales team tries to push for implementations that help their sales pitch. The Supply Chain team needs to constantly apply updates in their area. And so on with several departments across the company.
All these needs are dropped on the developer’s table. There’s no prioritisation, no roadmap or no clear ownership for any of them. This makes your digital product a mess, with slow updates and inconsistencies across implementations.
A Product Owner would fix this problem, by acting as a bridge between all the departments and the development team. Applying prioritization and a roadmap to base the digital product growth and development.
